American Triple-T

CAN A RELAY TEAM PARTICIPATE IN THESE RACES?

Yes, you can create a relay team with 1 or 2 other athletes and complete the American Triple-T as a team. The relay team must register as a team and participate as a relay team for all events. Each member must complete at least 1 section of each race.

Are you wanting to race as an Individual but not quite up for the Triple T? Then take on the  the Pleasant Valley Triathlons. Sprint, Olympic, & Half Iron distances available.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR THE OFFICIAL SINGLET?

Yes, all Triple-T participants ARE REQUIRED to wear the current years American Triple-T singlet at all times during the four events (except for the swim). This is a special part of what makes the American Triple-T unique.

HOW IS YOUR SCORING CALCULATED?

Your total time for all 4 races are aggregated and calculated for your final score.

HOW DO WE START?

All events feature time trial starts based on this time.

WHAT IS THE TERRAIN LIKE AT THE AMERICAN TRIPLE-T IN OHIO?

Hills and more hills — bring your climbing gears.

ARE THERE CUTOFF TIMES FOR THE RACES?

Yes, Race #1 — One hour after the start of the last participant in the swim, Race #2 — Four hours and Thirty minutes after the last swim wave has begun, Race #3 — Four and Half hours after the last swim wave has begun, Race #4 — Eight hours after the start of the last swim wave. In addition, there are cutoff times for the bike courses that will be posted.

WHAT IS THE WATER/AIR TEMPERATURE AT THE PARK IN May?

Water temperature: Average 64-69F Air temperature: 65 – 72F It is expected the swims will be wetsuit legal.

Pleasant Hill Lake Park is located outside of Perrysville, Ohio off State Route 95 in the lush foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in the Mohican Valley between Columbus and Cleveland Ohio.
